FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything schools need to know about bringing Kevin’s program to your students.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

What makes this different from a typical school assembly?

Most assemblies are a lecture students forget by the next period. As a former K-12 music teacher, Kevin understands the school environment from the inside and uses live music, storytelling, and student volunteers to create an experience that actually lands. Students remember what they learned because they remember how they felt!

What topics does Kevin cover?

Kevin’s programs focus on decision-making, emotional responsibility, mental health, and resilience. The core message is simple but powerful: you are 100% in control of your life. He weaves that through stories, music, and moments that get students thinking about the choices they’re making.

Is this motivational, educational, or both?

Both. Students walk away inspired, but more importantly, they walk away with practical steps they can implement immediately.

How does this support our counseling team without replacing them?

Kevin is not a therapist and doesn’t pretend to be one. What he tries to do is simply open lines of communication. After his programs, students are more willing to talk to counselors, to teachers, to each other proven time and time again. If a student is struggling, the school’s counselors are exactly where they should turn and Kevin reinforces that.

Does this align with SEL goals or district initiatives?

Absolutely. The program naturally supports social-emotional learning frameworks such as the CASEL framework, including self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills. If a district is working on specific initiatives, Kevin will connect the program directly to what the school is already building. That’s all covered during the discovery call.

What grade levels does Kevin work with?

Middle school, high school and collegiate students. He tailors the content, tone, and examples based on who’s in the room. What resonates with 7th graders is different from what hits for seniors. If the school wants separate sessions for different grade levels, that can absolutely be arranged.

How long is the program, and can Kevin do multiple sessions?

A typical session runs about one hour, but Kevin is flexible based on the school’s bell schedule. He can run multiple sessions in a single day to cover different grade levels or tailor the length of the program to fit a specific schedule. Everything gets mapped out together ahead of time.

What does Kevin need from the school on event day?

Just a space (auditorium, gym, or cafeteria all work) and a sound system or PA. Kevin sends over a detailed logistics sheet ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Does Kevin travel to the school?

Yes. Kevin is based on Long Island, New York and travels nationally so no matter where a school is located, it’s worth reaching out.

PRICING %26 BOOKING

How much does the program cost?

Pricing depends on the number of sessions, travel distance, and scope of the program. Kevin puts together a custom quote after the discovery call. He works with school budgets every day and is always straightforward about what’s included.

What's the booking process?

It starts with a quick discovery call. A simple conversation about the district, what the students are struggling with, and what the administration is hoping to accomplish. This is also a perfect opportunity to have all decision makers meet  and get to ask any questions they may have. From there Kevin customizes a program, sends over a proposal, and handles the logistics.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as possible. Kevin’s calendar fills up during the school year, especially in the fall and spring. That said, if a school has a last-minute need, it’s always worth reaching out. He’ll do what he can to make it happen.
